Plan limits

Store, staff, transaction and module limits, and what happens when you hit one.

Inventory is open on Free

Products are created inside the Inventory module, so locking the module would have made the 20-product Free allowance unreachable — a till with nothing to sell. The paywall on Free is the product count, not the module.

What happens when you hit a limit

The action is refused and you are shown an upgrade prompt naming the feature. Locked modules appear in the sidebar dimmed and padlocked, and open the same prompt instead of the module.

These values can be changed per install

plan_limits is administrator-editable, and edits are preserved across upgrades. The tables above are the shipped defaults; check Settings → Subscription for the limits on your own account.
