Store credit balances

Each customer carries one store-credit balance per company, backed by a ledger of every issue, redemption and adjustment with the balance after each. A customer who has never been issued credit simply has a balance of zero.

The balance shows at the counter when Store Credit is chosen on a sale with that customer attached. How credit is issued, spent and adjusted is covered in Store credit.
