Stock levels
Reading on-hand, allocated and available quantities across every location.
The Stock tab lists what is on hand for the store you are working in. Quantities are held per store, so switching stores changes the numbers, not the catalogue.
Next to what is on hand, the On order figure counts units on purchase orders for this store that have been placed with the supplier but not yet delivered. Drafts are not counted. Products that are low can be put straight onto a purchase order with Raise purchase order. See Purchase orders.
Nothing on this screen changes a quantity. Stock only moves through a sale, a refund, an adjustment, a stocktake, a transfer or a delivery received against a purchase order — each of which leaves a record. See Activity log.
